Opening
The patron saint of vintners Saint Urban, positioned above the main entrance frontage, protects the manufacture of Miroslav Sacek family winery wine.
The Miroslav Saček family winery is situated in a small picturesque town of Mikulov on the South Moravia - the southernmost and warmest part of the Czech Republic. The region, where the wine has been grown since ancient roman times, which is since the 3rd century, is well known for its wine-making tradition and customs.
The entire Mikulov area is protected by UNESCO as an unusual biospheric reservation. It is mainly because of the climatic conditions, typical for its lime-rock bed, dry and sunny climate, that the area is one of the best in 10 grape cultivating regions in South Moravia. The slopes of the Palava Highlands produce some of the most interesting wine varieties in the Czech Republic.
